I have completed testing of the Pica Press V2 Now uses no glue what installation and 1 inch shorter bringing total print time to under 24 hours on a modern core xy printer. Even better uses less than 1kg roll of filament!
The new design uses press fit dove tail joints for easier assembly and more stable. One of the major benefits of this is that you can no print in any filament. Want something more temperature stable, you can print in ABS. Want to do something wacky, use carbon fiber filaments.
I have included a test file for the dovetails. Please use this first to make sure your printer tolerances can work with these dovetails. On the instructions page I have included slicer settings to help you to get it right if your original print does not line up properly.
